Future Banking Summit 2021 – impressive audience in a special context

The 5th edition of Future Banking, the flagship event of the banking and fintech industry in Romania, attracted a very large audience during the 2 days of the event. The conference took place between October 5th and 6th and brought together more than 25 experts in banking, fintech and marketing.

Future Banking Summit spotlighted the main digital transformations of the most important financial players in the local market.

Given the actual context, the event happened in a hybrid format, adapted to the current climate and respecting all the sanitary measures for everyone present in the live audience. About 50 guests were participating live at the debates during the 2 days of the event, complying with all the health provisions, while another 360 participants registered on the Future Banking platform watched the conference online. The business conference was broadcast on social channels, including the IC Virtual Events platform, a solution developed by InternetCorp.

Future Banking Summit 2021 provided an immersive digital experience close to the offline event for all the 360 registered participants. They were able to network online, and we counted more than 599 business cards exchanged and 227 discussions in the virtual platform. In addition, the participants also had at their disposal an interactive area where they could interact with the digital solutions offered by the participating financial players.

This edition of Future Banking Summit 2021 recorded an impressive audience. Thus, within Vimeo there were 49.322 views, of which about 25.378 unique views and a total number of impressions of 59.451.

This year’s topics of debate reflected current trends in the banking and fintech industry and referred to:
• How to create added value by improving UX / CX;
• The Banker of the Future: changing the way of thinking, based on digital skills;
• Digital banks – which are the pillars of the digital transformation in banking;
• Industry challenges: how do you reach the underprivileged?;
• The vision of partnerships between banks and fintechs;
• How can open banking become a source of income?

Reputable guests presented the most important case studies related to the challenges of digital transformations in their companies, but also how fintechs have revolutionized the financial industry. You can find here some of the most important articles about this year’s highlight’s speeches.
