Revolut, the global financial super app, has surpassed 25 million retail customers worldwide, and is now processing over 330 million transactions a month.

Romania, with 2.5 million clients and a customer base growth of 67% in 12 months, is the leader of the region and keeps the second position in the global ranking, after the UK, while Poland had a strong growth in the last 6 months, overpassing the 2 million customers threshold. In the regional top 5 markets, there is also Hungary (close to 800,000 retail customers), Bulgaria (500,000 retail customers) and Lithuania (over 415,000).

“Our mission is to unlock the power of a borderless economy, for everyone, by bringing the world’s first financial super app to all corners of the globe. This year we have made important steps in achieving this, with a strong growth of our customer base, reaching the threshold of 7.5 million clients in the region. According to our data, one out of three customers, in the CEE countries, is using fintech to improve the financial skills and literacy . Encouraged by the rising confidence in solutions like our super-app,  we are planning further product development to offer a real all-things-money experience”, said Aleksej Koscejev, Head of Growth in the CEE region.
